Fighting depression is our topic for February. In the last episode, we discussed how to overcome loneliness. Today, we will discuss:

How to tap into a positive mindset.

A positive mindset is not very natural to humankind. Biologically we are wired to look for the things that threaten us and fight them or run away. Our brain tries to protect us in every situation of our everyday life. And this can be the cause of our unhappiness.

If we let our mind to do its job perfectly. A positive mindset is something we have to work on. We have to learn to tell our brain that it is all OK and we will be fine.

Here are some of my tips on how to do that:

To quickly sum it up, my tips are:

  1. Realize it’s a decision
  2. Visualize positive outcomes
  3. Repeat affirmation
  4. Reduce limiting beliefs
  5. Learn from failures
